Christmas Tree Craft Stick Ornament Craft

 

This is a beautiful and fun Christmas Tree ornament craft made from craft sticks.

Materials:

• 1 jumbo craft stick or tongue depressor
• 5 craft sticks/Popsicle sticks
• green and brown paint
• paintbrushes
• yarn or ribbon
• gold and silver pipe cleaners
• scissors
• glue
• colorful sequins

Directions:

1. Cut 1 craft stick in half.
2. Cut about an inch off each end of two more craft sticks.
3. Paint the jumbo craft stick brown and all the smaller craft stick green and allow to dry.
4. Glue the green craft sticks across the front of the brown one to make your tree as shown. Allow to dry.
5. Glue colorful sequins on the green branches for ornaments.
6. Bend a short length of silver pipe cleaner into a star and glue to the top.
7. Glue lengths of gold pipe cleaner on the tree for tinsel. Allow everything to dry.
8. Loop and glue a piece of yarn or ribbon to the back to hang up. Secure with a bit of tape.
