Tissue Paper Hula Skirt Craft

This is a very simple craft idea to make a hula skirt for kids using yarn and tissue paper.

Materials:

• green tissue paper(looks like grass)
• yarn
• scissors
• stapler

Directions:

1. Beforehand heck the kids waists and cut yarn of appropriate lengths.
2. Layer 3 or 4 sheets of green tissue paper at a time and cut strips, leaving a 1.5 inch margin at the top.
3. Lay enough sheets of tissue paper along the yarn to cover the full length. Fold down the "margin" over the yarn and staple into place. Do this all along the yarn. Leave a little bit at both ends to tie.
