Easy Straw Hawaiian Leis Craft

This is a simple way to make Hawaiian style leis using drinking straws and string

Materials:

• various colored construction paper
• drinking straws
• yarn or string
• scissors

Directions:

1. Draw and cut out some flowers from red, orange, yellow, and green construction paper.
2. Cut drinking straws to lengths of 5 cm(2 inches).
3. Poke holes through the center of the flowers.
4. String pieces on the yarn, alternating flowers and straws.
5. Tie the ends and wear your straw and flower leis
