This is a craft we did as a follow up to teaching the nursery rhyme, "There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe".

- sheet of blue construction paper(or other color)
- brown construction paper
- boot template
- white paper
- crayons or colored pencils
- Copy of the rhyme "There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" to cut out
Directions:
- Find a big boot template or simply draw one. Trace onto brown paper and cut out.
- Glue he boot to the background paper.
- Cut pieces of white paper into squares or rectangles for windows and glue onto the boot.
- Draw kids in the windows and/or the old woman outside.
- Add details like a chimney or steps.
- Cut out and glue a copy of the nursery rhyme and glue it next to the boot.
