This Thanksgiving Day hand print tree craft is a great class project. It's a thankful tree and the kids write what they are thankful for on a hand print cutout and put it on the classroom tree.
Materials:
- Big brown paper or paint
- various colored construction paper(especially fall colors)
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
Directions:
- Cut out and put up a large tree on the wall. Or paint one.
- Trace all the kids hands on colored construction paper. Have them write what they are thankful for on the hands with their name and cut out.
- Glue their hand prints on the tree.
This craft is a group activity, but it could be adapted to making a smaller individual or family thankful tree.
