Here's another great idea to turn a footprint into an animal. This cute penguin will be great for a unit on animals or winter. Every time I look at this it makes me think of Chilly Willy crying big ice cube tears.
Materials:
- sheet of white or blue construction paper for background
- white cutouts of penguin front as shown
- black paint
- 2 black paper flippers
- tiny orange triangle for a beak
- 2 google eyes
- scissors
- glue
Directions:
- Beforehand, trace and cut out flippers, beak, and oval chest piece for all students.
- Brush black paint on child's foot and press onto paper. Wash and dry foot.
- Glue on chest piece, beak, flippers, and eyes.
- Kids can all waddle like penguins.
