Recycled Newspaper Tree Craft

This is a simple and easy recycled newspaper tree craft. It could also be a great Earth Day craft.

Materials:

• sheet of paper
• old newspaper
• pencil
• scissors
• glue

Directions:

1. Fold a sheet of newspaper in half. From the fold, draw the outline of half a tree trunk.
2. Cut out the trunk and unfold.
3. Fold the newspaper several times accordion style. Draw a simple leaf shape and cut out as many leaves as you need, about 15-20 leaves per tree. The more colorful, the better.
4. First glue the trunk and then the leaves on a sheet of paper.
